Michal Kaszczuk and Lukasz Osowski, the founders of IVO Software have been announced the winners of the first Polish edition of the Microentrepreneurship of the year 2005 competition which has been organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Leopold Kronenberg Foundation (the Citigroup Foundation). The prize-winners have been nominated by the Pomeranian Technology Science & Technology Park.

The Award Ceremony were placed in the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Labor. Out of 92 entrants ?ukasz Osowski and Micha? Kaszczuk from IVO Software became "The Microentrepreneurs of the Year 2005". IVO Software specialises in text-to-speech solutions which is used in telecommunications and which has become a great tool for the people with sight problems. The jury particularly prized the company's latest solution, which is the IVONA TTS announced by the experts as one of the best Polish text-to-speech systems in the international market.

"It is a great idea and a passion that makes our solutions successful. We aim to prove that in spite of relatively low capital expenditure, Polish scientists, thanks to their strong will and obstinacy, are able to design a world-prized product. The title of the Microentrepreneurs of the Year 2005 confirms that we had chosen the right direction?, said Lukasz Osowski, the managing director of IVO Software."
