This is the end of the fourth edition of the "Entrepreneur Of The Year 2006" contest. Lukasz Osowski i Michal Kaszczuk from Ivo Software won the award in "New Business" category. Additionally the organizer of the event - international corporation Ernst&Young - decided to distinguish Ivo Software for "being competitive for the worldwide solutions" and for the "innovative attitude which is an example for other young polish entrepreneurs." Except for prestige Ivo Software received a special prize which is half yearly Ernst&Young coaching for the chosen matters of business guidance, that can open the doors for the future expansion on the international market.

After "Gdynia without barriers" and "The Microentrepreneurs of the Year 2005" awards it's now time for an unprecedented success in the history of polish informatics. The organizer of the prestigious Blizzard Challenge Contest Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh rewarded Ivo Software products for being (simply) THE BEST  text-to-speech software in the world. The product which can be used for listening of e-mails, books and news read as if it was made by a human lector, was esteemed by the international team of 135 experts. The young company from Gdynia defeated 13 best worldwide research groups from  USA ( even from such corporations as Microsoft and IBM!) Japan, Germany, Israel, China and Great Britain.

The article informs about application of the IVONA  TTS - Website version to the implementation of "cyber-speaker" module that reads the content of IDG.pl web portal. The module is called Audiobot.

She concentrates mostly on the future plans of development of the newest technologically-advanced product, which is the IVONA TTS.

The article describes the achievements of the company on the field of TTS. It puts an emphasis on the great quality of the voice presented by their  IVONA TTS and its ability to compete with foreign companies and their products for a share of the market.

Michal Kaszczuk and Lukasz Osowski, the founders of IVO Software have been announced the winners of the first Polish edition of the Microentrepreneurship of the year 2005 competition which has been organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Leopold Kronenberg Foundation (the Citigroup Foundation).

"The Award Ceremony were placed in the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Labor. IVO Software specialises in text-to-speech solutions which is used in telecommunications and which has become a great tool for the people with sight problems. The jury particularly prized the company's latest solution, which is the IVONA TTS announced by the experts as one of the best Polish text-to-speech systems in the international market."

The article comments the results of the first edition of Polish competition "The Microentrepreneuership of the Year 2005". The prize-winners -IVO Software, has been nominated by the Pomeranian Technology Centre. Out of 92 entrants Łukasz Osowski and Michał Kaszczuk from IVO Software became ?The Microentrepreneurs of the Year 2005?. The competition has been organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Leopold Kronenberg Foundation (the Citigroup Foundation).
